Great daily carry

Solid EDC option. Blade is better than I expected since it was my first AR-RPM9 purchase. Crossbar action is really good.

Looking Forward to MK II

This is not my favorite daily carry knife. That being said I am a knife person and this knife was designed for many people, not just knife people. This knife is quite light compared to many knives I carry daily, which I think does make it more accessible to a wider variety of people. While not a Nessmuk blade profile, this drop point does carry some DCA DNA by virtue of the belly of the blade being slightly lower swept than many similar knives. The action is very snappy and one of the nicest thumb stud opening knives I have owned. The lockup or closing action is also very smooth. The blade never bounces back upon closing, and never half stops; it just works. For an inexpensive knife this is a feature loaded treasure that I would certainly recommend to any friend, which means that it fulfills it's design mandate quite nicely. Things I personally would LOVE to see in a MK II: Jimping just above the thumb stud (first thing I notice with my slightly-larger-than-average hands, most noticable missing feature IMO) Slightly off-center pocket clip. It's not a symmetrical knife, the clip should be a little further forward in the pocket (right hand carry) IMO. Carbon fiber handle with either burnt orange or blue (a la this model) pivot surround. Hard personal choice here For my money, no criticisms, just things that would cause me to buy another one so that I could gift this one to someone desperately in need of a pocket ornament! Thanks DCA, keep em coming!

Nicely done DCA

Okay, I will be honest, at first I was underwhelmed. But, after a week of carry, this knife has really grown on me. My initial complaints were it has no jimping, and it is a tad smaller than I would like for my XL, but not sausage finger hands. It has proven to be a no-nonsense folder that does what I need and manages to be comfortable and reliable. DCA went about making this a go to knife recommendation for anyone, I think he succeeded. This knife offers perhaps the BEST crossbar action on the market, certainly under $100. It is snappy to deploy, has a strong self-close (meaning it is unlikely to open in the pocket which is the drawback of many crossbar knives), and "finger safe closing operation". The handles are hand filling despite the size being a little smaller than I typically carry. Solid lock up, very well finished, great cutting geometry and nicely priced. I would still love to see a 10-15% bigger version of this knife, something in the 3.3" blade range and a little more room in the handle. And please consider adding some spine jimping in the future! All in all, I would say this will work for almost anyone, and if you're a smaller to medium hand size this will be perfect. Nice work DCA.

New EDC

I just received mine. Nice and short; doesn't take up too much room in the pocket. 3 and a half fingers fit on handle, which feels smooth but not slippery. Ideal size for me and I like the blade shape. Comes in a nice zippered pouch, something I wasn't expecting. Well done, DCA!

Curb dca maximal

Carries small but handles big. Full four finger contact, snappy action. Solid lock up, great g10 milling. So far the blade steel has been good. Tried this knife on a whim, and I'm very impressed so far. DCA knows his stuff. Recommended purchase.

Solid knife for a gift or recommendation

Purchased this knife as a gift but took it out of the package to handle it myself first. Great overall feel and quality at this price. G10 is my preferred handle/scale material, this didn't disappoint and I like the shape of it. Drop point blade is versatile, pretty thin and slicey. I cannot comment on the steel but hopefully it works well. I would honestly prefer something better known like Nitro V or 14C28N. This knife is a great gift item as long as you are okay with it being made in China. It's versatile, quality construction and appropriate for a wide variety of uses.
