Great knife with minor flaws
The knife came really sharp, no burr that I could notice. I haven't used the knife super hard, so I can't make much of a comment on toughness, but it seems to hold an edge decently. I bought the micarta version as I was hoping it would be more grippy, but it's not as good as I was hoping. This isn't to say it is bad though. The pocket clip works very well as a pocket clip, even in pants I wear that pocket clips tend to fall out of when I sit down, but it did rotate a somewhat worrying amount of the box. After trying to fix it with some materials to increase friction, I found the adhesive residue from some tape made it not wiggle anymore. In part due to the slickness of the micarta, I find myself using the pocket clip as a sort of ledge for my rather large hands to grip onto, and also pushing the top rear part into the palm of my hand. When doing this, the blade has nicked my palm a bit, so in that sense I kind of wish the blade was a tenth of an inch shorter. The handle shape is very nice, I have a good and comfortable grip in use. The pocket clip doesn't get in the way at all here. The crossbar lock is a bit stiff for me, and the studs for it are a little sharp, but this is more evident when I was breaking it in and using the lock a lot. In normal use there aren't any real issues, so I would still consider the lock a positive.
