Let's not muck about, this knife is fantastic. It has an amazing shape and comfort in the hand. Along with a full ground, slicey blade perfect for cutting most anything. In my case it's perfect for cutting fig bananas. Used it today on my first harvest of the lil yellow guys, and let me tell you. No knife is more perfectly suited for cutting them. Right through the peel like butter. Holding this knife as we speak. No lock wiggle at all. That cross bar lock keeps it in place nice and tight. Not sure if it runs on bearings or washers but it is smooooth my friend. For the price this thing is awesome. And I fully recommend Only thing I'm left desiring is a slightly more expensive version with anodized aluminum scales. I might see about getting a set made if I can find the right help.
