This knife is in VG-10 steel making it outstanding as a EDC THE blade design isn't what I know to be the conventional TANTO the point drops away making the knife much more designed for tactical operations as well as EDC duties. For the price you are getting Superior steel-VG-10 holds a fantastic edge, w/o being a beast to resharpen like D-2 G-10 scales are ergonomicly perfect for my hand. Titanium liners make the lock up vault strong.

One Helluva Knife

Use is everyday from carpentry to taking care of the farm. Holds an edge quite well & is decently easy to resharpen. Its thin so doesn't bulge pocket. Very Handy. I have a # of other pocket knives with better steel in blade but most are difficult to sharpen and require diamond sharpeners. I keep all my knives sharp enough to do surgery..
