A real work horse
I purchased this knife because it was cheap and I needed a thumper for work. Though I'm not a big fan of Camillus products since they were sold to a big conglomerate, I was intrigued by this design. My job requires me to work with all kinds of material and when it comes to certain wood working that would require multiple tools I now find myself relying mainly on this tool. As good as it does with an assortment of finer wood working tasks, I can see this being a great tool for bush crafting as well. I've always carried a fix blade with me to work and it used to bother me when one of my peers would ask to borrow my knives because I didn't trust them or their abilities with a blade. Now I hand them this guy and don't blink an eye. The sheath isn't the greatest, but for what it is and at this price point, it is perfectly acceptable. Now I have a beater I can trust to with stand the abuses of my job without worrying about the price of replacing it. The funny part is, I'm pretty sure this guy will put live me.
