Decent little flipper.

I bought it and I always sharpen my knives anyway so the edge out of the box doesn't mean as much to me as long as it is evenly ground and it was. A bit stiff, but most knives straight out of the box in this excellent price range are always a bit stiff, but nothing onerous. I bought it for my grandson's 18th birthday. It was tight with no play in the blade until I flipped the stiffness out of it and then just removed the pivot screw and put some Loctite on it and so far so good, no more looseness my grandson says. Beside just flipping open you can easily use the cutout hole to flick it open. All in all a good buy for the price.

The Most Useful Knife I have Ever Owned

At first, I was a bit apprehensive about the sharp drop point blade, but quickly found that instead of having to be forced into material, it simply slides in allowing for a quick transition to cutting. This actually makes it a safer knife. I really like the D2 blade, which has only required a few swipes to sharpen back to a razors edge. I REALLY like this knife. I rate this knife as a 10.

Pleasantly surprised. . .

As many know, this isn't the Camillus our grandpa's grew up with but damn did this knife shock me. Came razor sharp, locks up tight and it's centered. The G10 is very nicely done, I know the finish they put on the blade will help keep the D2 looking good for years. Pocket clip functions well, rides a bit high. On the negative, the tip of the blade will grace your palm if you don't position the knife just right when you deploy it. It's the only reason I gave a 4, action is a bit stiff but I know it will break in over time, the bearing system seems decent for a $30 blade.

Almost a 5 star

Only con I can find with the very well designed knife is the blade wasn’t exactly sharp out of the box. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this knife.

Returned immediately.

Action was sticky, required two hands to open. Blade play when open and shut. The scales feel like cheap plastic. This one is a no go. At around $30, you can do much, much better for the money.
