Probably the best there is..

This is the best thrower I've ever come across, and I'm not at all new to throwing.. I use the no- turn method like the fellow below me, and if you buy this knife I highly recommend you use this method also.. The knife itself is similar to the traditional kunai seen in Ninpo Taijutsu.. You can really pull off some hard hitting and long range throws.. It has a fairly thick carbon steel blade and it really takes quite a bit to even bend the tip.. Just keep a flat file around to keep that tip up.. I bought two and sadly I lost both of them, but I plan to purchase a couple, maybe three more.. I would recommend this product to any knife thrower or shurikenjutsu practitioner.. It would probably be best to stock up on a few before they get discontinued or something..

These 12" Dismissals are some of the first throwing knives I bought and considering the punishment a total beginner gives to throwers they have stood up fantastic. I was concerned about the holes in the handles being a weak point for breakage but nope not one of the original three did. Balanced very well and using a no spin throw technique the shape is quite an advantage. Other than losing the tips from being like needle points they were very easy to reshape and make look like the original lines of the knife. The hole came in handy at the end of the handle to tie yarn onto for practicing spin throwing to easily see how many rotations I was doing at set distances. There are now six months of throwing on them are still going strong and good enough to get me to upgrade to six of them a few months ago.. The blade edges aren't sharp so blade throwing is no problem. They do sharpen up but then they are harder to remove from the target. Extremely hard at 20-22' throws. For me they are working out great. No cons on these at all.

Good thrower

I really like the feel/balance of this one. The only downside is the tip is very thin and frail for a throwing knife. It lasted a week before ~1/4 of the tip bent to 90 degrees. I did contact Condor and they said they would send me a new one...still waiting. I went ahead and just broke of the bent part and reground the tip. It is much more robust now and still throws fine. If you get one, I would say expect to have to re-grind the tip at some point, but it is a great thrower overall.
