Worst factory edge I've ever seen in my life
The edge geometry of this knife upon arrival was like that of a splitting maul. It was completely useless for chopping, and for anything else. I'm used to factory edges requiring some additional honing out of the box, but it took me grueling hours of reprofiling with a mill file to get a usable primary bevel on this tool. This is the kind of thing I would expect from a $25 hardware store axe, not a $90 knife with 10" of blade to have to fix, and which is advertised as having hand-honed edges. If it really was sharpened by hand, then whoever sharpened it must be a complete idiot who has never engaged in camping or survival tasks in his life. I've had this same issue with other Condor products as well, such as their tomahawks. Condor needs to acquire some quality chopping tools from the likes of, say, Gransfors Bruks, and educate themselves about edge geometry, because this problem is absurd and inexcusable. I hope Condor's CEO gets stranded in the Jungle with one of his unaltered factory products and no mill file on hand.
