One of the coolest thing I own
Around 2018, I started to go hog wild with knife collecting, so much so, I now own over 500 fixed and folding knives. In my collection, I only own one large fixed blade, the Kershaw Camp 10, in case of the end of the world scenario or I had to battle my way through a bunch of zombies. A few weeks ago (Sept 2024) I saw DCA show off this Condor K Night machete in one of the KC new knives videos and I thought that was one of the coolest swords I've ever seen (I only own two swords, which are both novelty Xena swords). I got this K Night machete in today from another seller (KC was sold out) and am astounded how happy I feel holding this ridiculously long sword/machete, which feels great in my hand. The sword isn't heavy and the 13" 1075 blade isn't that sharp out of the box but gosh does this sword look wicked cool in person. I especially love the almost 8" long micarta handles and the excellent kydex sheath that comes with this blade, which has a satisfying snap when I put the blade back carefully back into the sheath. I feel like a female version of the Highlander or a Samurai with this sword in hand. I am not going to use this to hack my way into the jungle but might hack a few small leaves and twigs come around next spring. This is item is great "this a freaking awesome knife that isn't very practical but makes me happy" thing to have, hold and admire.
