Nasty, Bowie

This is the real deal, fit and finish is extraordinary , I own other Bowie knives, cause I just love the history of the knife it's a western legend since Jim Bowie ! At the Alamo. This knife looks so close to the actual knives they would carry back then frontiersman Ian sure it performers as good as any Bowie out there , but it's so beautiful go buy yourself a marine raider from Ontario if you want to go play in the out doors I think this one will just be a collected Not saying it couldn't do the same tasks but in the woods I just don't want to ruin this knife I lol bring my Raider to do everything and my rat 7 on my side. Thank you knife center great customer service and fast delivery thanks !!

One serious bowie

This is the bowie I always wanted as a kid. It reminds me of the old western 49. It's big but surprisingly light and lively feeling. The clip has a false edge, I would have preferred a sharpened clip but for a camper the false edge is safer. Fit and finish is typical for Condor, that means excellent for the price point. It had a ok edge but it required a good stropping to bring it to hair shaving. The only disappointing point is the sheath. If I had never owned a Condor product it would be great but I own many older Condor blades and their sheaths were thicker and felt more sturdy. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I have never been disappointed with a Condor blade and their 2017 lineup looks better than ever.

Now this is a,..well, you know

The Undertaker Bowie is a damn fine knife from Condor. I love the hollow-saber grind and deep belly of this beauty, as it makes the knife devastating at cutting and slashing. The full tang makes sure that this monster is as strong as it looks. The sheath, is a beautiful, THICK, slightly purple leather...it is quite lovely and I disagree whole heartedly with the other reviewer concerning this sheath. Maybe he got a lemon, or maybe I got a particularly good one. My issues with this knife are the edge did require some sharpening, but since it is a simple carbon steel with a good tempering, it became hair popping sharp with little effort and nothing more than a dual sided stone and a ceramic rod. Also, while not interfering with its function, the grinding is not aesthetically perfect. Makes you feel like John Rambo ground it out in some steamy jungle, and at this price range (same as a USMC Ka-Bar) I feel like it could have been better executed. Additionally, while i like the solidity and look of the handle, it is a little bit slick and could do with a little swell near the pommel to keep it from slipping out during heavy use. All things considered, I love this knife. It is solid, ruggedly handsome, and sharpens up quite nicely (hair poping). I would but it again and again in an instant.
