The opening mechanism took a little getting use to, but after carrying it for a year I love it. It is a lot of knife for the weight.

EDC knife

Very smooth opening & looks impressive , blade design is flawless MJ Lerch knows what a knife should be. Razor sharp out of the box. I don't use the belt clip because it rides in my pocket just fine the way it is-light weight & thin enough you don't even know it's there until you need it.

Very nice and fun EDC blade.

I received this knife as a birthday gift. At first, I had a lot of trouble opening it, but after some practice it is very easy to disengage the lock and engage the assist in one smooth motion. The added security of the lock keeping it from accidental opening is good for peace of mind, even if I have never had a knife accidentally open on me. The handles are a bit smooth, with some texture, but it is not very grippy. The handles actually seem a bit small for the size of blade, and the finger grooves are small as well. I do wear an XL glove, but one of the finger grooves is so small (the one for the ring finger), that my pinky does not quite fit in it. Still, it is comfortable enough. The blade has a very useful shape, as well as being very thing and extremely sharp. This knife certainly cuts like a laser. Overall, I think this is a very good knife and I look forward to seeing what other designs she come up with.

A Lot of Cut in A Little Package

This knife would be perfect for the individual with smaller hands. It came hair popping sharp out of the box, and is small and thin enough to be packed around in most compartments. Once familiar with engaging the opening mechanism, one can become quite proficient at a speedy blade opening.

Good and fun EDC

This little knife is well designed for light edc use. Its weight and reduced dimensions make it pleasing to carry. The security system is fun and the opening is easily done once you get the right movement. Only minor gripe, the contours of the handle are a little too sharp. Good knife for the price.

Smooth, too smooth

Very small, thin and light. Possibly too small for medium male hands. Shaving sharp from the box and that's all I know about the steel. As an EDC/fun knife it is pretty good, but it looks more like something for personal defense... and that might not be a good role for it: Very slick handles, hardly any traction tough it feels good in hand once you get there. Jimping on top is perfectly placed but cosmetic only - it mirrors the notches on the locking bar. Great mechanism for opening, but there is a trick to it and with such slick handles you better train with it. Once you get the hang of it, the blade is nicely assisted and lock-up seems solid. I'm quite charmed by it, but if it is meant to be a defensive knife, maybe Second Production should have some nice G10 and actual jimping on top. Wouldn't hurt it in the EDC role, either :)

Tuff to open with large hands

I like the assisted opening system, but I have a hard time being consistent with it. I have to think about it to much. Maybe if it was 1/2'' to 3/4'' longer that would help Would really like to see it with stainless handle material maybe say Anodized Titanium finish to get that Rainbow color. Would pay more money for the larger size and different handle material.

Great little knife

This is a great light weight knife for everyday carry. It's scary sharp.The only thing about it that is a bit awkward is the deployment mechanism. It's a little tough to get your thumb in exactly the right position to trigger it. I suspect with more practice it will work just fine. Delivery service and such from the company was great, as always.
