I didn't expect alot, but this is bad
I was curious why id never seen these in any stores, where people can look at them and touch them and then joke with your friends about what scrap metal you have laying around ypir backyard and how much you could sell it for based on this hunk of junk. I would put the quality/craftsmanship somewhere below those knives you see on late night infomercials that you get in sets of 300.... Yeah this isn't quite as nice as those. My wife is fully convinced I received a used knife, or axe, even after showing her pictures online and assuring her this is a newly made item from a big brand name company, she doesn't believe me. Probably a good thing I didn't tell her how much I paid for it. Did I mention it's a lot smaller than I expected? Bout the size of a standard chef knife, pretty narrow handle for something your gonna chop with. Needs to be like 38% bigger. The kydex sheath looks like something my nephew made in his garage with plywood and styrofoam, complete with melt marks from the blow torch they used to burnish ONE corner. None of the bevel grinds on the blade match, it looks to be slightly twisted, I think it was sharpened on a concrete sidewalk, and the handle appears to have been dipped in what I'm guessing is a thin layer of laquer an then laid on a dirty bench to dry. Probably what gives it the "used" look my wife is so adamant about. If the price drops to 20 bucks, and you happen to have a 25% off coupon, snag one!! Until then, your better off going to the grocery store and buying one of those blister pack kitchen knives and going out to the parking lot to sharpen it into a NAX!
