HEAVY DUTY , EXTREMELY WELL BALANCED
CRKT definitely stepped it up a notch with their NEW LINE of BLADES!! For the price this KUKRI is simply put, a SOLID , well put together, KUKRI!! Everything about this blade so far is extremely positive. The 1st thing i noticed when i had it in hand was the EXCELLENT BALANCE and Weight. 14.2oz! Took it out in the woods yesterday and had to put it to use. Chopping down Big dead limbs of all kinds of woods, Hard and soft varieties. No problems whatsoever, handled everything i put in front of it, from Bushcraft use to a WAR blade. Stayed sharp, no blade chipping, even the black traction coating smoothed down but stayed on the BLADE. The SHEATH is also EXCELLENT!! I'm a lefty and many KNIFE makers don't make it easy on us, as far as accessibility. The Sheath is extremely heavy duty and took me 2 minutes too switch over to my left side draw, NICE!! I have the original Clever girl fixed blade, great knife but on the thinner side, so i kinda expected THE CLEVER GIRL KUKRI to be made of thinner SK5 steel stock. Ohh NO, this BLADE is much thicker than i expected in which i was pleasantly surprised!! 5 STARS in my opinion. If your looking for a Heavy duty CAMP, SELF-DEFENSE ect.ect. KUKRI this is definitely the one. I'm not great at these reviews but i had to with this one because i was blown away at how well this Blade and Sheath combo work.
