Wickud Tomahawk, love it.

When I first broke it out I thought the head was a little small, smaller than I was expecting. It makes up for it. I dealt to some over grown bushes around the house and it was great. The thinner than normal head compared to cheap tomahawks means it cuts through branches, smaller trunks very quickly and easy. I was loving it and looking for more thing to deal too.... There was a small nick in the blade after yet I did hit stones in the ground a few times. It sharpened up great to and has held that new edge with heaps of use on it. Handle feel great too, no hot spots and great control and grip. Various points to hold make control for different takes easy. The sheath is the one used for the Kangee, I guess to keep costs down. It still holds great and looks the part. Overall love it, I wish I could get away with carrying it everywhere..

Just right

Okay, I coulda got the RMJ for 5x the price (and who wouldn't?), but this is exactly what I was looking for. It rides just right between the drivers seat and the console. Thing has some heft to it. Very good workmanship. I prefer a hammer at the back of the head rather than a spike.

As always great company to deal with, this tomahawk suits to a tee you can carry it in a pack or on the outside awesome piece of kit in the bush when building survival shelters or spliting branches to light a fire in the wet weather, has too many uses to name so if you are serious about remote hiking do yourself a favour and add one to your kit Team it up with a folding bush saw and you are set

CRKT T hawk

I got to play around with one that a friend bought, the axe has a great overall balance slightly head heavy but very fast nonetheless. The handle is a perfect size however I wish they would have either extended the zytel scales out a little further or ground the lip of the tang down a little more, without gloves that little lip where the tang and the handle scales meet is a "hot spot". All said and done a very useful tool at a decent price at $40 it would be a steal so the $55 price tag isnt bad. Oh and the reviewer above me said it was the wrong sheath, well they have a spike back t hawk and both axes use the same sheath so its not wrong they just didnt re design and retool to make a sheath for each model, the difference in manufacturing the two axes is just a slightly different program for the laser cutter/ waterjet, and costs nothing to make a new sheath for the hammerback would mean the price would have to go up
