Great personal knife - Little baby bear

Since I had the papa bear and the mama bear I decided to get the baby bear. Wow! What a blade. Actually, all three are superb; but this one is a great blade to have close by and ready to use.

One purpose only knife

This knife was designed by James Williams for Japanese army special forces. Its is one of the sharpest blades out of the box that i own. In my opinion its the higher quality (steel/finish/grip/sheath) und bulky brother of the well known hissatsu fixed blade fighter. Without no dout a fearsome and ergonomic fighting blade. As seen in different videos (made by James Williams) the choosen blade design (original tanto tip!!!) penetrates deeper than dagger style blades etc..In fighting situations you can count on this knife for sure. The sheat holds the knife well, but you can draw it in less then one second. If you want a highest quality hissatsu buy the Sakimori. For other utilities/survival situations beside fighting i would choose other knives.

Just the right size for a combat knife!

Of the Williams blades that I have tested and carried, this one is by far the most practical! The thick steel 5.76" blade is just the right size for carrying --either undercover plainclothes or on your kit. On the down side, the knife weighs about as much as a filled 30-round M-4 magazine, and it is pretty much a single purpose fighting blade (not really designed to be a utility knife) -so, it is always a question of how likely you'll need this kind of weapon and how much weight you are willing to carry to have it with you. As a strong fighting knife, I give this blade my highest recommendation!
