great folder

This knife is just what I've been wanting to put in my boat or carry along on other trips. Compact and very lightweight to store or carry. I'll have to wait until next year to see how it holds up under regular use. Just what it claims to be in the add and knife center is great to buy from. I liked it so much I bought another for my son.

Will do the job

This is not a top of the line fillet knife and i will therefore not review it as such. I use this mainly as a fillet knife for backpacking as it is very light and takes up very little room. The added safety feature that prevents the knife from closing on you while in use is great because whether you are miles into the mountains, or at home its best to avoid cutting yourself. As with most columbia river knives it comes with a good stainless steel blade that has plenty of flex and a useable edge (sharpening to your own standards is always recommended). The only negative really is the handle it feels pretty cheap and doesnt have the best ergonomics, but I honestly didn't have the expectation that it would when I bought it. Overall i don't think you can beat the knife for the price, if you are looking for a fillet knife you can just throw in a backpack or fishing box, this will do the job.
