Now It's A Steak Knife!

Understand, I DO clean it thoroughly before and after each foodi use! No resharpening yet required. No smudges on the blade have yet appeared! It just keeps getting better; and I have been using the same knife for all these chores and box, package,, and letter opening, to boot! Deployment can be sketchy at times, but repetative use will help hit that sweet spot every time. It's not really a lightswitch flipper; more of a push-button flipper. Inconvenient at times, but still under 38 buck$! at times

Perfect For My Purpose!

I bought three of these for a single purpose; I have three most comfortable locations in my home where I routinely open boxes and mail, but have commited three EDC knives of some value to these locations! OVERKILL! These three CRKT LCK+ knives can easily serve my purpose with no complaints. Deployment on each has been faultless; the blade steel and design is certainly up to the tasks I will require them to perform; the ergonomics are superb; love the finger choils (among the best I've seen on any knife!); and, frankly, I find this Black-Out version to be particularly attractive! They could even fill in as EDCs in a pinch! And the price? Out of the Ballpark! Highly recommended!

Well Done!

Right out of the box, I love this knife. It has a great edge/sharpness. The weight is more than I thought it would be, which I like. I, too, hope the opening eases with use, but if not I still love it.

Great bang for your buck!

I’ve carried this knife at work and use it every single day, and I have nothing but good things to say about it, it’s super lightweight with the nylon handles but it still feels very strong and dependable.

Some Unanticipated Further Thoughts And Observations...

I still can't walk away from these knives; so much better than I ever anticipated. They have met my original purpose with flying colors, and I have moved on to additional EDC tasks: I used one to cut up a cantalope yesterday; the extremely sharp blade and grippy textured scales made short work of the job!, and the finger choils helped protect me from injury! I rinsed the knife off with hot water and a dish brush, dried it out with a very small hair dryer for which I paid less than $10, then wiped it off with a Zeiss alcohol lens wipe. This is a small task, I know! But it could not have been performed any better with my $550 Benchmade Gold Class EDC knife! JUST SAYIN'!

Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material
Cons: Lock Ease of Use

Big fan of CRKT, but this one misses the mark in my opinion

Initially loved this knife but found it had two fatal flaws, and least they were fatal with the example I had: (1) the liner lock stuck under vigorous use and (2) the clip was quite loose on most pants and actually I lost the knife because it fell out of my pocket while I was in transit.
