Take time to actuate the axe several times at first to get it broke in. Like a new firearm, it needs a break-in period in order to function well. A little gun oil at the moving junctions also helps during this period.

This thing Rocks !!!
First thing as I cracked open the box I'm like whaaaaa !!! What a cool design , smooth as butter operation and deployment once you get the hang of it , rock solid lock up as well , carries in pocket lot better as I anticipated, weight really isn't noticeably different then any large folder , actually feels more comfortable because of flat profile, A+++++ to crkt and Joe Caswell

Great Product
I purchased this a while ago, still have not given it a ton of use. I really bought it just because it's unique. I will say it's stiff OTB I had to oil it and work it, but it's good now. I did not get a pocket clip, which I now see on the more recent ones that are for sale. Does anyone have a suggestion where to buy one? CRKT site does not even sell one. I like it still and highly recommend it!
