Excellent EDC
I have had several K.I.S.S. knives as my EDC over the last 15+ years and only recently started carrying different EDC knives (mostly for style reasons). The K.I.S.S. is an outstanding companion (the reason I kept getting them to replace the previous lost one). As others mentioned, with a little practice the design lends itself to very swift deployment from fully pocketed to ready to cut. I've actually startled people with the speed at which it is ready. As a small knife, the handle fits within your palm (my pinky barely touches it, I have large hands, tend to choke up on the blade during use, and favor a sabre-grip), and the well rounded end makes it very comfortable in use. True to its name, there's nothing hiding the working parts of the knife, making it very easy to clean. These have always arrived very sharp, but be prepared to keep it that way - it needs attention if you use it as much as I do - and I use this for almost everything. I mean I really abuse this little knife on chores fit for much larger knifes, prying tasks that should have gone to a bar, etc. It is super durable, the serrated segment is great on rope, zip ties, and pallet straps. Overall the K.I.S.S. punches well above its weight class.
