Great little EDC pocket knife
I purchased this knife, new in the box, a couple of months ago. It is my new EDC. This is a great little knife. Solid, sturdy and simple. I've been carrying (and collecting) pocket knives for over 50 years and own many of the major brands including a few automatics. I love and prefer open assist knives now that I've owned a few over the years. The only thing I'd change on this CRKT Drifter, model 6450D2 knife is I'd lose the thumb stud! I removed the thumb stud on mine as soon as I brought it home! The flipper for the open assist mechanism on this knife works flawlessly! The thumb stud simply isn't necessary! I don't know why the designers of this model included the thumb stud. I love this knife! I love the D2 steel! It's an EDC keeper. I know there are quite a few choices out there in the world of pocket knives! But a higher price doesn't always equal better! In form and function, this little CRKT knife is a nugget of gold in my opinion!

My new EDC rotation knife
Great knife. Everything the previous review says is true. Including not needing the thumb studs. Strong sturdy knife. I have large hands and I can get all four fingers on the handle although it's tight. Love the feel of the handles, the jimping or cuts on the back of the spine behind the thumb studs are nice. The tab for deployment works well to hold the fingers back from slipping onto the blade. It it sharp. No denying that point. Lol. I would like a little more jimping on the back of the spine but what's there is fine. Like it glad I purchased it. I recommend it.
