For a $40 knife, I’m very impressed. First, the handle material and texture are unlike any GRN I’ve held before. Very grippy and not plastic looking or feeling. Action is quick and smooth. The assist is just enough to kick the blade open with an easy pull on the flipper tab, but it’s still easy to close with one hand, which isn’t typically the case with assisted openers. The blade comes razor-sharp right out of the box. Lockup is solid with no wobbles. Nice looking, nice feeling, and nice operating - as good as - or better than - knives costing many times more. It’s my favorite blade shape, and it’s a perfect size and weight for EDC. I expect the D2 will work just fine for my needs, and it keeps the cost down. Definitely a keeper and a user.
