Awesome serrations

Cost versus fit and finish is excellant. Veff serrations are awesome. Not an every day carry knife, but a special purpose knife for the boat or in your survival kit bsg. The opener needs breaking in. I am using a penetrating synethic oil.

CRTK Ignitor

I collect knives that have unusual ways of opening, and this is the first assisted opener I've seen using the thumb peg. I was impressed with the way they did the serrated part of the blade. It was not conventional, yet sharp and effective.

ignitor

Worked great, quick release with little or no excess play when open. It took a few times to figure how open correctly

Cons: Lock Ease of Use

Amazing!

This is a great knife and I use it all the time, always with me when I go outdoors and looks really cool. The lock on the assisted opening is great, but a little hard to get used to. The assisted opening is very clean, snappy, and sometimes intimidating. Definitely not something to fool around with.

Ignitor is number one

It is a beautiful knife in form and function; in design and color scheme it is most appealing. The blade takes an edge like a razor blade and keeps it - it slits things open like nobody's business. However, after the first couple of days of opening and closing it repeatedly, it stopped opening readily. My thumb got sore from trying to get it open and I finally gave up and put it away for a day or two. When I picked it up again, it opened sometimes, but sometimes not. It is very frustrating and, as I said, my thumb has a sore spot on it, because I haven't found the magic placement on the button where it will open every time. Any suggestions? Or should I try a replacement. It seems to work VERY well right after I oil it or put graphite on it, but that's only for a little while. I can't carry a bottle of oil around with me and oil it every 20 minutes, can I? That seems to be the only workable solution at the present. Perhaps I SHOULD try a replacement after all - maybe this one is a lemon.
