smooth and sharp

Great knife, very smooth opener and easy to close. Note that the blade steel is not marked anywhere on the knife itself. I have "several" knives, and its a big pet peeve of mine when the blade isn't marked. Usually this is a sign of cheap steel, its unusual to see magnacut with no labelling. In case anyone else is comparing it to the "Boker Urban Trapper Flipper", although these two knives are very similar on paper, this CRKT is a bit more substantial than the boker, both a more solid/premium feel, as well a riding bigger in the pocket.

Pros: immaculate quality, possibly the sharpest knife I’ve ever seen OTB, super smooth and flippy, rock solid lockup, classy and well matched pocket clip Cons: they’re probably not going to make very many of these Ultimate gentleman’s flipper

Really cool knife. My gentlemen's knife choice

Pros: Knife looks, feels, operates, and works great. Feels very premium, which it is. Cons: Arrived sharp, but not as sharp as I would expect. The only downside was that the knife was pretty dirty. The blade had either machining goop or something all packed in the fuller on the upper edge, mostly near the pivot region. The box was sealed and plastic-wrapped, so I would assume the manufacturer didn't fully complete a quality inspection before packaging. For the price, you would expect those things to be sorted out. Assessment: Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and glad this knife is part of my rotation. A little clean-up work and some extra sharpening made this my go-to fancy knife.
