007 scale release

Well, another time to tell about another knife-this one is a little different in a good way…..while exploring all the newest bells & whistles as of late, there’s been a really cool blade that’s been around awhile. It has peaked my interest consistently so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Never handling and not knowing much about the operation or design I was kinda in the dark about the Michaca. Looks were the inticing factor that won out. Where to start…..At first glance there is no knowing of how to deploy the blade. You can watch it being done but you really don’t understand until you deploy it yourself. Give it to a friend and they will not figure it out until you show them. Being a lefty it really is cool how in the tip up position and right hand show side scale towards you, simply push the scale forward. This puts the knife in a pakal style edge out position-very quickly. This method is the easiest, quickest way to deploy it whether for self defense or normal use. There are many likes with this knife, so here’s a few: Magnacut blade steel, ceramic bearings, comfy/tacky G10 scales, excellent ergos and a nifty method of deployment. Shout outs go to Mr. Booth who brought about this great knife and KnifeCenter who carries this piece and ships it so quickly. This time the gamble paid off not knowing the knife particulars and how the Michaca turns out to be quite friendly to southpaws. Regards, Ken Clark
