Dimensions and pics seem a bit misleading--this thing is small

Was hoping to use this to carry slipjoints around the size of a 4", two-blade trapper. But I can barely squeeze a 2-3/4", single-blade barlow into it. Seems well made, but for very small knives, and I'm not sure about the use case for that. Returning.
