Don't listen to what anyone else says... this knife and the entire Homefront line seriously is one of those 'don't know what you have till its gone' because it seems nowadays EVERYONE i talk to wants the original Homefront's to come back with their larger blade size and ability to take down super easy. I think the takedown system was WAY ahead of it's time, so much so ppl just didn't appreciate it till now. This one especially can be a beater because of the steel being so easy to sharpen and super simple to work with yet being really good for outdoors use. The assisted open is fantastic and really gets the blade out quick you'll love it, its really satisfying. If they could get the assisted opening WITH the Ken Onion easy take down (sorry forgot the name of what it's called) ability, man that would be a hot seller. Make the handle titanium and the blade like 3V or S90V and man I bet that thing would sell faster than any of the homefronts before. I know it'd be one of my grail knives for sure! I have every single homefront released with the exception of the black and orange one... just dislike that colorway lol. PLEASE CRKT... make ONE tanto or reverse tanto version PLEASE!

Springy action!
This is such a cool knife. The mid twentieth century military aesthetic gives it a nostalgic feeling, like you're holding something precious from days past. The design is ingenious. The blade looks way too big too fit in the handle, but somehow it works. It's a heavy bugger, so it carries best wearing thick work pants. The 12C27N steel isn't the best, but after a day of slicing cardboard, plastics, and foam rubber, it doesn't take much to strop it back up. It seems like a lot of people don't like this knife because it's not a field strip type. I have a Raikiri field strip, and the action isn't very good. I personally love the spring assisted ball bearing action. It's tuned just right. It's a joy to flip open, time after time. This is a knife with a lot of personality. Don't listen to the haters. If steel type vs. price is all you look at, you're gonna miss out on some unique stuff. This knife makes me happy. That's worth the $100.

Not worth the money
Definitely not worth the price! Other brands comparable at 1/2 the price! The handle is too short but would be adequate for small hands! It’s light and feels cheaply made! I usually don’t write reviews but I am thoroughly disappointed!!
