Who can't use this?
Some of you people just make me shake my head in weariness. This is a beautiful knife that can do almost anything. And anyone who can't sharpen a blade in three and a half hours is, well, inept at best.

A great blade
Very nice knife. Looks very small until opened. Opening is a very fast assisted open. Blade came extremely sharp right out of the box. I love the compactness of it and very fast action if needed. Recommended. Very satisfied with this purchase. Thanks to the excellent customer service when needed from Knifecenter.

Gents flipper
I am pleased with the overall situation with this knife. It flips fast and easy. I'd recommend anyone with a hard to deploy blade send it back and ask for a replacement. Maybe even ask that it be checked before getting shipped.My CEO was almost impossible to flip open and am now sure it was the particular knife. I purchased a Stylus as well as a Boker Plus kwaiken mini KnifeCenter exclusive with the 3.07" blade. Both deployed flawless with minimal effort. The Boker is a jewel of a knife. Very classy looking with smooth red Micarta and gold colored liners, fittings, and hardware. I would recommend these to anyone.

Hard on the fingers
Nice feel and construction. But I am not crazy about the flipper because of the amount of pressure it takes to work and the sharpness of the gimping on it. They are so sharp it hurts the finger when used.

Good style, bad opening mechanism
It looks great and looks like a pen (not a knife) clipped to my fifth pocket. But, it can be very, very hard to open, even with trying to adjust the pivot tightness. Maybe this has to be taken apart and cleaned and lubricated...

Looks Amazing, Everything Else Less than Ideal
Firstly, this is a beautiful knife, absolutely no complaints about the materials or looks. my main complaint lies with the flipper. I don't know if it is the design or just the one I received, but it takes a great deal of effort to flip this knife open. Normally this wouldn't be too big of an issue except that the design of the knife prevents the inclusion of a thumb stud or alternate method of opening. Additionally, the knife I received was dull, which for something with Ken Onions name on it and the $70 price tag is a huge disappointment. All in all if you are planning to actually use this knife, I would look elsewhere, otherwise if its just for show, I have no issues with it.

Way over priced for its' value
First let me say I own 200+ CRKT knives. Have loved them all and each has its' place and use. However, this knife really frustrated and angered me. I own 5 different sharpening systems (Lansky both diamond & regular, Gatco, EZE Lap Diamond, and Ruixin) and NONE of them could sharpen the knife. So it is the steel or whatever material the blade is made of. After trying to sharpen it for 3.5 hrs, i put it in a box where it will NEVER come out of again. Even $5 knives can be sharpened, but this Stylus Flipper only got duller and duller to the point it would not cut paper at all. When you cannot put an edge on an $80-90 knife, something is wrong with the knife. I have never been unable to sharpen a blade until this one. Do Not Buy This Model!

Save your money. Poor quality throughout.
Very poor quality manufacturing and apparently no quality control. I usually don’t buy CKRT for this reason, but I thought I’d give them another chance because I liked the design. A mistake. Back spacer is always loose and rattling, no matter how much you try to tighten it. Ramp on bottom of blade that receives the liner-lock plate is poorly machined and the liner lock over-travels getting stuck against the far side scale. First time it happened, and it happens frequently, I had to use a screw driver to pry it free. Blade metal quality is fair to poor. The edge nicks and rolls easily… I guess from opening letters and packages, and cutting light cardboard because I haven’t used it for any other work, it being a “gentleman’s edc”. I’ve purchased many other knives in this price-point from other manufacturers and have always been satisfied. This is the second CKRT that has exhibited self-destructive, poor build quality. I will never buy another. CKRT could take some lessons from Civivi, Bestech, Kizer, Cold Steel and more.
