This is my second Senenza. I sold my first to a soldier. It was actually one of the first Sabenzas ever produced. I will never sell this knife and make that mistake again! In the forums, there seems to be a lot of controversy about the steel. Let me assure you that this steel is an excellent balance between hardness and pliability and corrosion resistance. Just as well thought out as is the design is also the choice of steel. Buy with confidence.

Since I receiving the larger knife (around 2 weeks) in the Sebenza family I have used it for almost everything. Cutting food, opening packages, gardening work (pruning, trimming), clipping cable ties, cutting rubber grommets. It is excellent. Since childhood I have had an interest in knives and had many from many different manufacturers including a custom folder in tool steel from an Australian maker. The Sebenza, however, tops them all. I was surprised by it size (larger than expected with heaps of belly on the blade)but it has a satisfying weight in the hand and truly does lock up like a fixed blade. It's not particularly people friendly due to its size and hence I may end up purchasing a small for daily carry and keep the large for heavier stuff. We have rather restrictive knife laws in Australia so to and from work I am fine carrying a blade, but weekends to the city she is out. Overall an excellent purchase and I look forward to seriously using the blade so that in 10 years time It has some real character. One last point, the pocket clip (very sturdy no fear of losing the knife) is not particularly 'dress pants' friendly. I think it would be fine for denim, but will quickly wear a whole in a pair of woolen dress pants!

The CR Sebenza is the pinnacle of factory production folders. This knife feels heavy in the hand. Not heavy from bulk but heavy from quality. The kind of heft you feel from any quality made tool that gives you a secure feeling of reliability. The liner-lock locks in like a bank vault. The knife is expensive but you get your money's worth in quality. The Ferrari of folders.

I own a few knives and the Sebenza 21 is the first that I have of its kind. Considering how sturdy this product is, I am a bit surprised at how light weight it is. The materials used to make this product are superior and the quality of construction and design are the best I've seen thus far. The S35VN blade is scary sharp! To be honest, I cannot find anything to complain about. Flawless...

I was itching to feed my need for a new Sebenza the other day. I sold two Krein tuned Emerson folders so I had some loot. I could not find any interesting Sebs on the forums so I looked to my favorite internet dealer-KCI. I decided to go with the Large Sebenza 21. The knifecenter is cool too, they have nice promos. The promo this time was a mini Buck folder, a sharpener, and free ground shipping(which is next day for me-I am close by). I opened my box with lots of excitement and anticipation. I could not imagine how CRK could improve upon this icon. Well they did! The first thing that I noticed was the improved action. I used to have to disassemble my Sebs and lightly hand polish the washers to get this action. It is like oiled glass! Next is the edge profile. It seems as though it is a bit thinner than before. I used to reprofile on the sharpmaker-no need. I still gave it a few swipes to give it a more aggressive edge though. Next was the melting of the corners. I love the feel of it with its' nice smooth edges. It kind of reminds me of the melt down that custom knife maker Matt Cuchiara used to put on the Sebs-not as extreme but a very nice subtle feature. The improvements are subtle and have to be seen in person to appreciated. I found out that my knife is the one on the Knifecenters ad for the Seb 21. It is a STAR! Thanks for another great knife and fine transaction!

This is a full size work knife, extremely tough with the titanium sides, easy to open and full lockup every time, no chance this will close by accident. The blade is full size, full drop, excellent edge out of the box, requires touch up once in awhile. Cuts the heavy stuff with ease. The size is not an issue with the light weight gained by using the titanium handle. This is an outstanding choice for heavy duty work with a full size blade!

After weeks of research and lots of hesitation I dropped the coin for a CRK Sebenza and boy am I glad I did. Fit, finish and design are second to none. There is actually nothing that I dislike about this knife. If you're looking for a rock solid, get it done blade that you can pass on to your children and their children then this is what you're looking for.

The buck stops here.
This knife has been in my pocket everyday for the past 7 years. I have used it for everything you can think of. If i had to pick one knife to use for the rest of my live, the sebenza would be it. There are only 2 things in the wold I would trust my live to: my Glock 17 and my Sebenza.

Head to sharpen
I love this knife- had it for a couple of years and it's my everyday carry knife. I'm having trouble keeping it sharp. I've got the Damascus blade and despite my best efforts, it won't get sharp or stay sharp. It feels like the steel is harder than on my other knives. Any suggestions?
