Very happy with the Carson M16-03BK!

Having gotten the Carson M40-03 and really liking everything about it, led me to getting the M16-03BK. The blade is very similar to the M40 and with the Black Oxide coupled with the bronzed handle makes this knife visually stunning. With some minor honing the blade is razor sharp. The flipper action is very positive and easy to close. Gripping is very comfortable. Definitely I'll put this knife in my EDC rotation. All in all, CRKT has another home run.

Simple, good looks, works

This knife is on my rotation for edc, I'm a mechanic so I'm always cutting some thing open or cutting some zipties or what ever needs cutting lol. Great all around knife and you can't beat that price. Solid, simple and it looks awesome. The flipper does stick out a bit while in pocket (left pocket) so i just flipped the clip and no more worries at all.

Pros: Weight
Cons: Handle Feel, Lock Ease of Use, Pocket Clip

Disappointing and Awkward

I have been having good luck with cheaper knives, and on paper the refinements to this 2021M-16 seemed worth checking out. However, it's not much fun to EDC. The framelock puts so much pressure on the blade you can only use the flipper with substantial wrist-flick. The handle is thin but uncomfortable, hotspots from basically every angle, can't really get a safe firm grip, and even cutting cardboard feels awkward. The pocket clip protrudes sharply. The lock is a chore to disengage. It has very solid lock-up and is quite handsome, plus a very fine tip, so it's not useless, but I don not enjoy using it.
