Almost great
Great size and design. It's nice to see Cold Steel making some smaller knives. Only two issues with this one: 1.) The blade steel could be a bit better. 2.)The integrated FRN clip comes across as bit cheap and seems as if it were designed by a third grader. All in all, I'm willing to overlook a couple of flaws for what is otherwise a really well thought out knife.

Really impressed
I don't typically carry cold steel knives because they are usually pushing or exceeding the size limits in my state. That's not to say I don't appreciate the ruggedness of cold steel knives. I ordered this mostly out of curiosity after seeing it was a sub 3" blade with the tirade lock. I really like this thing. The grip area is big enough to be useful and it is quite comfortable. The blade shape is unique and functional. I would give it 5 stars (and pay more willingly) for an upgraded steel.

Great Handle, Very Sharp Blade, Cheap Pocket Clip
I love the black handles on this knife. It fits perfectly in my medium sized female hand the the handles and warm to the touch and shaped perfectly to fit in my hand. I don't even feel the pocket clip in my hand when I hold this knife, which is perfect for cutting boxes, paper, string, or an emergency defensive weapon. the only thing I don't like is the plastic pocket clip. I wish Cold Steel and Civivi would start putting wire pocket clips on their knives, like Spyderco. All in all, I like this knife and can see why its a Japanese favorite.
