Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Weight, Pocket Clip
Subcompact/Micro Folding SRK
When one thinks of the "1911," images of a robust and sizable firearm that sends a flying ashtray downrange comes to mind. Unfortunately, naming this folder as a "1911" is misleading, and I had higher expectations. At best, this is an entry level, small/micro, liner lock folder that shares the same blade shape as the SRK. The flipper works as intended, it locks open solidly, the blade is indeed sharp out of the box, and the sliding safety is designed to only lock the blade in the open position. The pocket clip on this knife is way too stiff and needs to be bent outward to work with jean pockets. It's noted the description of this knife provides that pocket clip is ambidextrous. This is inaccurate, as there are no pre-drilled holes anywhere on the scales to reposition the clip. It is strictly set for right hand tip-up carry.
