I purchased one when they first came out. It is a rock solid folder. No blade play in any direction. I own over 25 cold steel folders and they are all rock solid folders with no blade play at all. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it is too large for my hand. I am a small person (5' 3") with small hands and have to shift my grip after opening. This is not condusive in a self-defense situation. As you never know when a knife might be needed for protection. Anyone who has been in a fight knows a fraction of a second can mean the difference between winning and losing. Therefore any knife I carry must be able to be handled in the quickest way possible.

Pros: None
Cons: None
Beefy blade with a little play
Pros: it’s got heft, feels sturdy and can be deployed fairly easily with one hand. Rear lock feels safe and sound. Grippy handle. Cons: the blade has noticeable and audible play. All directions: up, down, left, right. Blade lock feels superfluous because of this.
