An impressive solid sharp knife. Ideal for most uses because of the really sharp blade and ease to resharpen. The knife is quite large but none the less easy to carry. I am in the UK so it is only legal to carry any locking knife with a valid reason but I have used it around the home and when I go camping and it is a durable solid knife. Only problem I find is the liner lock is a bit stiff when closing I will add this knife was stopped and inspected by UK customs because I received it with the red inspection label, but it was passed without any real delay and considering it is the most aggressive looking knife I have purchased from the States and the only one they opened, it was nice to know that common sense prevailed.
Defense, the balance and feel r great, the the blade smith is excellent plus the materials used. I like the size of the blade will do the job. I wish that it would come in a ambi model I'm left handed, but I can work around that. Thanks for a great product.
Unlike the previous review I know this knife opens quickly with little effort. It produces a twack sound that is very menacing. The knife is actually a small sword and carries easily with the pocket clip. Very well made and worth the money.
I accidentally ordered this 6" when I really meant to get the 4" blade. I was pleasantly surprised, the quality is excellent and it was super razor sharp and has held that edge for over two months. I love the quillion that you can catch on the edge of your pocket as you draw it out and it is open as soon as you get it all the way out of your pocket. I agree with the other review that it does make a menacing thwack sound as you open it, enough to scare anyone that is looking for trouble away. The only drawback is it may be just a little too big to carry every day. Some of my pockets aren't deep enough for it to clip all the way in. The lock is a little tight but not so bad you have to use a tool to get it unlocked like I have experienced on cheap knives.
I have a hard time opening my 26ASTX knife. This is a well made really nice knife but hard to open with one hand quickly. Not like the video. The lock is also hard to release.It comes very sharp.
