This is a great knife. I've carried and used the basic model for over 15 years and found the design to be excellent. This model is up scaled version and the materials used are great. Blade is super sharp. Highly recommend for daily use.
I own both versions of the ti-lite in zytel the 4" and 6" I wanted it with better steel but the aluminum was too heavy.The cts-hxp on this blade is great stays sharp been using it as my edc since I got it and the edge is holding up well.the g10 handles are really comfortable and look great I'm just not a fan of blacked out blades I'd prefer a satin finish on it but cold steels new coating is excellent looks good and doesn't seem to wear.my only complaint on this knife is the pocket clip is too tight rip your pocket up but I bent it to where it's perfect now didn't mess it up either.i plan on getting the 6" model soon and maybe another one of each to collect.i highly recommend this blade.
Very attractive knife have previously owned and needed to re-buy this beautiful product. Perfectly concealed anywhere needed and flawlessly opens every time. Very pleased with the purchase.
Received this gem as a reward for being good this year. My first experience w/CTS-XHP & was pleasantly surprised w/weight-strength ratio & extreme sharpness out of box(usual Cold Steel). Very light weight yet feels satisfying in the hand, better than Hold-Out Series. Doesn't tear the pocket as the others do, logical progression up from S&W folder. We'll se how the DLC coating lasts but looks beautiful on the blade. G-10 scales feel natural even when moist. A true 'hit' for Cold Steel as they took a good knife & made it great!
I've gotten three Zytel Ti-lites and the aluminum handle 6-inch variant, yes I love the Cold Steel Ti-lite series that much. The Zytel variant, I carry it everywhere I go. When I saw this black version, I had to get it. It looks gorgeous, the weight is spot-on, and I really like it. It has every quality that my zytel Ti-lites have, except that it blends in better with my darker pants, which I'm very pleased with. The other Ti-lite have a very conspicuous pocket clip that clashes with my black jeans. My biggest gripe with this knife is that it came stiff as he** out of the box. And by that I mean it barely opened, the pivot wouldn't budge. Believe me, I've gotten plenty of knives and none were this stiff out of the box. I applied some 3-in-1 oil and it still was really stiff. It takes a lot of force to use the thumb stud and closing it requires more effort than the typical folder. The pocket clip is also REALLY stiff and tough to work with, but I'll break it in. Overall, like I said it's a solid piece of craftsmanship and a worthy edition to any collection.
