Grew up with a 1970's Schrade lockblade folder made in Solingen, Germany - that knife has been my all-time favorite. Remarkably, this knife has taken its place. Fit and finish are terrific, thin, light weight, great G10 feel, melts into the pants pocket, handle length affords a full 4-finger grip, razor sharp blade (crafted using one of my favorites, AUS-10A). The Triad lock speaks for itself. This knife is now my routine first choice for EDC. Not a lockblade fan? Buy it anyway.

Perfect EDC

Slim, light, narrow, it rides in the pocket without you even noticing, yet offers a substantial tool when you need it. I find the handle comfortable in spite of it being so narrow. I wouldn't want to spend hours carving with it, or anything, but it's great for general use. The blade is big, but not too big. Opens and closes easily. It's sharp, stabby and slicy, whatever you need. I have to force myself to carry my other good knives, because I would always just reach for this. For ordinary people with ordinary needs on an ordinary budget, this is a top contender for your one perfect pocket knife. I recommend it enthusiastically.

Stellar EDC Knife

A very solid EDC/work knife. Light yet will handle hard use. Has a good action and lock spring isn't overly strong making it easy to open and close one handed. Easy to sharpen to an extremely sharp edge and does a good job of holding the edge. They put some thought into the pocket clip. Zero hotspots and goes in and out of my jeans pocket easily. The price may not be stellar but it's fair. This knife is getting a lot of pocket time and has quickly become one of my favored EDC knives.

Air lite Capable

While this knife is lite, it isn't flimsy. It is also thin so it will be out of the way when in your pocket. In addition, the blade took a great hair shaving edge. I'm not a hard user any longer but this knife should hold up to any typical knife tasks.

Good solid knife but...

I'm going to be the party pooper here and drop it down to a 4 star. I have purchases plenty of knifes on this sight and like everything I've gotten. This is a good quality knife and it is just about everything everyone has said about it. It is my first Cold Steal. I like the knife enough and will carry it because of the reasons everyone has already stated. So the problem that I have with it is just my preference. I just don't like the sharp edges. Especially the edges on the spine of the knife. It is little too sharp for me. Could I take a file and round it a bit? Maybe. Is it a deal breaker? Not really. I can live with edges of the handles although I would have enjoy a little softer rounded edge. Good knife I do recommend it. Good knife, good sharp metal, love the lock, love the handle. Mine came with an extra clip so you switch it from one side or the other. If you have read this far you're interested. Just throw this bad boy in your cart, lay down your credit card, and in a very few days get it from your mailbox. Have fun.
