Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Pocket Clip
It's a BEAST
As advertised, it's a HUGE tank of a folding knife, but not terribly heavy for how incredibly large it is. It only weighs about as much as a Buck 110, even though it's significantly larger. The Triad lock is rock-solid, and overall, the knife seems to be extremely well-built, and mostly well-designed. I say only MOSTLY well-designed, because of the extremely tight pocket clip which also lands on top of some very aggressive handle texturing. I wish Cold Steel would update the clip to something that was more "tame" and didn't end up shredding your pockets over time. That, or simply having a smooth surface on the spot where the clip contacts the handle like Spyderco does on their plastic-handled knives would solve the issue. It's an otherwise excellent knife, and a sold 4/5. As always, the transaction with Knife Center was flawless and fast.
