The item before discounted price was already a steal. Nearly half off was irresistible. AUS 8A is no "super steel" but certainly a high standard. A great looking finish too. I only wish I would have known I liked it so much before I bought it that I might have gone straight to a Recon 1. If I had to find a downside, it's that the texture under the pocket clip is a bit aggressive. Personally, I carry mine with a lanyard and no clip.

I used the knife in my winter suit fit well in chess pocket, extremely light, the handle is perfect for my big mittens, the fact that half of the blade is serrated, it act like a saw but whit a knife

Cold Steel 29TLCH Large Voyager 4" Stonewash Combo Clip Point Blade, Grivory Handles
A pleasant surprise. Elegant, durable, useful and a great deal. Sharp blade with dependable lock open mechanism is what I was after and that is exactly what I received - a value-priced piece of equipment that will last many years if I don't misplace it. To sum it up, I'd say this was one of most valuable knives regardless of its cost.

This thing is tough to beat for the price the quality is what you expect from cold steel. The lock is very strong and easy to use. Blade was shaving sharp out the box. I think I will move up to large version because it is tight trying to get all four fingers around the handle and I wear medium sized gloves. The lock up is rock solid no blade play. You get more than your moneys worth out these knives.

I've been buying Cold Steel products since the Voyager model had the plastic clip. Cold Steel never ceases to amaze me. This is one powerful cutting tool. Perfect size, perfect hand fit and perfect cutting tool (like a power saw with a diamond-carbide edge). Buy this knife! The price is excellent and the product the very very best in its class!
Cold Steel 29TLCH Large Voyager 4" Stonewash Combo Clip Point Blade, Grivory Handles
This is an inexpensive, tough as nails beater knife. I bought this knife to throw in my tool box and I'm sure it will hold up as can be expected from all cold steel knives.

Was always a Tanto blade man but this time went for the clip point. More heft compared to the old 4" tanto voyager. Thicker body, better grip. The large finger chois make it so much better to hold in any grip. No chance of slipping on to the blade. The Tri-ad lock secures with a loud click and you ur ready for anything. The lock is a bit rough at first when trying to close the blade but it'll smooth out with use. I will be definitely getting it in a Tanto blade next. I've been buying CS since 1997 with the Recon Tanto as my first knife. Enjoy.

The grip is awesome and the construction is tough. I know knives are about cutting and not lock strength but the triad lock and grip of cold steel knives just makes me feel that more secure if I ever had to use the knife for self protection and I just like the feel in hand. The stonewashed full flat ground blade of the voyager looks awesome. I wish the knife had jimping on the blade but it's not really necessary, I also wish cold steel would make a landing pad for the clip on their high grip knives to avoid pocket shredding. I'm not a fan of the serrated portion of the blade mainly do to looks but I think it will work well. I'm going to try and sharpen the backside of the serrated portion only as recommended by the man behind the edge pro apex.

Really good knife as expected from Cold Steel. Very solid with absolutely no rattle while open. It feels like a fixed blade. It is designed for someone with big hands. I have to choke up on the handle to flip it open.

Cold Steel quality
This knife is on sale at the moment, I don't know of a better large folder for $30. I'm not a big serrated edge fan but it does work well. Will probably order another one at this price and gift one to someone. The handle needs to be sanded down a bit (easy) under the pocket clip or it will quickly wear a hole in your pocket.
Cold Steel 29TLCH Large Voyager 4" Stonewash Combo Clip Point Blade, Grivory Handles
Love this knife. I've used it mostly to cut boxes and bubble wraps. Some plant stems and plastic bags that gardening materials come in. I don't use the pocket clip, the whole knife fits into your pocket without sticking out. Nobody's business what I got in my pocket. I'm giving it 4 stars because the plain edge part of the blade is chipping. I don't have this problem with the 5.5 inch version made of carpenters steel which I own also. I have other cold steel knives with AUS8 and did not have a problem! If whoever made this was on Forged In Fire, they would be sent home.

Great knife,
I use this knife to cut a variety of things such as rope and bailing twine and the half serrated blade is great for this. The knife is the perfect size for all my needs!
Cold Steel 29TLCH Large Voyager 4" Stonewash Combo Clip Point Blade, Grivory Handles
This knife has an excellant grip, a very sharp blade that has held the edge. I have had a bit of trouble w/ single handed deployment, but it is a larger blade than I am used to. I may buy another just to have as a spare. The best knife I have ever owned.

This is the first knife I ordered thru Knife center. The product came promptly as ordered. The blade appears solid as well as sharp. It was wider than I expected in the closed position. It was hard to close with the locking mechanism. The quality is fine but I decided to give it to a friend as a gift.

Not crazy about this one
Envisioned an every-day carry situation with this after reading most of the reviews - turns out that the fit & finish don't live up to the usual Cold Steel reputation. Very stiff operation, which doesn't seem to be loosening up with use, making the knife hard to open and close.
