This Blade is Awesome !!

I have owned a couple of Cold Steel knives in the past and I absolutely love them. I have taken several of the full-size models and torture tested them to the fullest and they hold up better than most knives I have tested. The CTS XHP steel with the new improved finish is tougher than nails! I went as far as to test the durability of this new finish and it is almost indestructible. I brought one of my knives to work and threw it in the brazing cabinet and blasted the finish and was still hard to remove. I then went at it was sandpaper and was finally able to get it down to bare metal. One other great thing about this large knife is that it fits right in my pocket I can actually carry it. It will roll with me every day alongside my Benchmade. One downer is that it's assembled in Taiwan! Hopefully someday Cold Steel will produce all of their products in the USA.

The U.S. military MUST issue this knife to our soldiers!

This knife can do way more than you think that a FOLDING KNIFE can do. The only odd thing is the blade is only a 1 sided knife like a razor blade.

This knife is razor blade in the form of a weapon!

You can use this XL Voyager as a tool to gut your prize buck out in the field, or you can use it to carve what you want out of wood, or it can be a very good survival tool, or if you are a person serving our country this would make 1 hell of weapon, mostly because that is what it is made for + you can open it so damn fast if you rotate your rist about 45-50 degrees while you push on the blade. & if you do that it will open up just as fast as a switch blade!

Excellent Blade

I find this to be the best Voyager I've ever owned. I love the 5.5" blade, and the "XHP" steel is one of my personal favorites. It has some issues opening, and the clip is closed tight as a wedge. I don't believe I should have to "stick a nickel under the clip" when I open the box. There are just way too many other competitors that have excellent pocket clips, and smooth as silk opening blades. The knife itself is like the heavier Recon1 XL. This makes for an excellent EDC SD weapon. I'm using two hands to open it. However, with practice, I've become very proficient. I'm completely satisfied with the build, and aesthetics of the knife. It is really intimidating when presented. I love the FRN scales, and IT HAS LINERS YAY! I highly recommend this knife, even with it requiring "tweaking" out of the box. For the money, it's truly awesome. To be fair, I ordered this knife from another source. I don't like to wait. Knife Center is however, a MOST congenial, and profoundly professional company, with stellar customer service.
