Best Fixed Blade Knife...

I have owned many quality fixed blade knives, some larger and some smaller than this. However, I have found the Cold Steel Recon Scout to be the ideal size, weight and overall feel and balance compared to them all. I already had the black-bladed version in O1 steel, and had been hoping Cold Steel would offer it with a plain non-coated blade. I am so happy with this Recon Scout in CPM-3V steel ! ! ! Not only is it a non-coated blade, but the steel chosen is probably one of the strongest and toughest steels that could have been chosen ! ! ! This is going to be my #1 fixed blade knife going forward. NOTE: All of the images I am seeing of this knife appear to show a brass-colored blade guard, but mine is the same color as the blade.
