Improved Spike Knives

Great EDC neckknife, this is an improvement over the old spike series in every detail, especially the handle and the thickness of the blade. They put a really nice scandi grind on it, and Cold Steel says all their knives come razor sharp out of the box, which is just not true ( for example the larger carbon steel fixed blades), but in this case it is. I bought 2 Bowie Spikes and both of them shave hair off my arm, so well done. Very good quality for the money.

Neck knife bowie

I've owned this knife for seven years and it's not failed yet. Used it for a screw driver,pry bar and even a little hammering,the cutting edge holds strong. This knife is well built and worth the price

Superb for EDC

Don't worry about sharpening this fine "tool." The grind is Scandi on both sides, and it's even. All you need is a few passes with a flat ceramic and a strop to turn this into a scalpel. Cold Steel hits a home run with this one. The handle is small, but becomes part of your hand. The full tang, fine steel, thick blade, great grip, low price, and single grind beat the Mora -- something I thought no one would do.

Cold Steel Bowie Spike

I like this little knife. It's bada** bowie, tactical neck/bootknife and little small utilityknife, all in one! Razor sharp out of the box and easy to sharpen. Sheath rattles a bit but not much. I use this for almost everything what a knife can only be used. it does not matter if I'm in a city or in the woods, this knife works anywhere!

Cold Steel Bowie Spike

Great overall knife,not used to carrying neck knife,worn against skin did feel a little pressure, probably due thinness of chain.However, when worn over shirt under collar hardly noticed it.Will be ordering Tec Loc for belt carry.Cold Steel is top of the line and u cant beat Knifecenters pricing

Steak knife?

Got all the Cold Steel Spike knives except the Tokyo from Knife Center. Just tried the Bowie and Tanto on a steak. When sharpened up enough they work great as steak knives. Suggest getting a set of which ever style floats your boat for picnics or BBQs or camping! TWO THUMBS UP!
