Big Knife

This is a big knife. Sure it tells you the size in the description, but I wasn't prepared for it. No points for or against for size. Don't really consider it a pocket friendly knife for all occasions. Opening and closing isn't an issue; best beware or it will bite you. Easy to get parts of your body when closing. It open and closes easily when unlocked. It was sharp. Locks up tight and the blade was also very tight when opened. Clip works well. Will keep in the truck to replace a cheaper knife already there.

Funny looking but a Great Knife

I never really liked the look of this knife but...it was on sale and I wanted to complete my Cold Steel big knife collection. Actually it handles very well! Basically it's an AD 10 with a different lock. I think it was a progression to make a more fidgety lock leading to the AD20.5. This in between step is actually pretty awesome. You can snap it open and closed by holding the lock bar and snapping it. Very impressed

AD 15 lite

I could never afford a custom AD15 I couldn't even afford the cold steel premium production AD15 but this lite version is a sweet spot on the price so now I can say I own a AD15

Great tactical folder

Had this knife for about a year now, and the more I carry it, the more I appreciate it. It's a beast. Built like a tank. Takes and holds a keen edge. Lockup is bombproof. There's a definite learning curve for opening and closing. After some use it becomes very intuitive. Doesn't excel as a letter opener or splinter picker, but If my life was on the line, I know it wouldn't be the weak link. Well worth the asking price.

Cool but Not One Handed Friendly

Looks like it is designed to be a one handed knife, but it is NOT a safe one handed knife. It's well build and smooth. 5 stars for that. But for anyone like myself who requires a knife that can be closed one handed.... this knife is a HAZARD. It's just too easy to get your finger into the opening between the frame and lock bar and when that nice big blade comes swinging shut... SLICE There goes your fingertip. It is a super cool knife though.
