Very good set

This was a present to my daughter. She and her husband love the set and cannot believe how sharp the knives are. Makes her work in the kitchen much easier. They are of excellent quality.

Surgeon's Daughter

We bought these as a wedding gift for a surgeon's daughter. She knows my affinity for knives and though these are not the most attractive kitchen knives out there they are razor-sharp thin and as she is a cook of consummate skill appreciated the handling of these blades. In medical school to be a surgeon now, she knows how to perform a bonectomy on a variety of birds and primal cuts of meat. The steak knives complete the ensemble, the block is great and this made a terrific gift.

Cold Steel best Deal

Well what can I say? I'm hooked on cold steel knives, when they came out with there first kitchen knives I figured I would give them a try. I hate when I'm making something and I don't have a good knife. Well these exceed my expectations, so much so that when these new ones came out I just had to get them. Cold Steel guarantees the quality of the blade and I like that. The new knives have a better handle and are super sharp, my wife loves the new knives. One thing is follow what the directions say about cleaning them, it's always nice to have clean sharp knives and DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER! Might take a bit of time to hand wash but you won't regret it.

Greatest set of knives we’ve ever had. Used our sons set before asked how can we get them. Ordered and their fantastic don’t use any other knives but these. Found out they sure are as sharp as can be. No more trouble cutting, slices right through everything we’ve cut. Best knives I’ve yet to be able to hold on to with no problem. Kidd

AWESOME SET OF KNIVES

Great handle grips. Came razor sharp. Great deal. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality kitchen knife set.

Very Good For The Price

Light and thin and razor sharp. The handles seemed small because we have been grabbing an oversized handle of old Chicago Cutlery and forcing our way through kitchen tasks. Once you start using these kitchen tools properly the handles make good sense and you really start to improve your kitchen knife skills. There are a few great refresher videos on-line that will be a benefit. The steel is hard a so sharp that you MUST reasses your tecniques. I'd gladly buy these again. The block quality is very good. The steak knives aren't dining room beauties but they are very good in use. In one afternoon I breezed through a turkey-sized Hubbard squash and switched to another knife for thin-slicing while patting myself on the back for making this call. The cost/benefit (=value) is great.
