Amazing Knife

The first thing I said when I opened the tin was "WOW"! Its certainly an eye catcher. The lock is very solid and there is a surprisingly loud CLICK as the bar falls into place. The tip looks so acute you'd think you could break it easily, but if you look down the spine you see that the blade keeps almost the same thickness till the very last possible moment: the nice thing about a tanto. All in all a knife well worth the money, and if you don't mind carrying something this large, it will last a lifetime of service I have no doubt. (in all reality is fits nicely in my pocket compared to my 6'' Ti-lite) I had a buddy of mine after shaving off some leg hair say, "that knife is TOO sharp"!

Nice Knife

This is a great knife. Larger than average folder, superb lock and SUPER-SHARP! The only thing I don't like, is that Cold Steel made this knife kind of heavy. It weighs my pocket down some and in the clip isn't the greatest. In order to get the knife out of my pocket quickly, I had to install the 2nd clip on the other side as well so it has the pocket clip on both sides. My hand snags them out it comes. It not as swift as my Spyderco Police or Endura but when it is in my hand, I know I'll be able to cut whatever I need. The handle molds itself to you. The blade feels like an extension of my arm so in that respect it can't be beat. It is a very fast and agile blade in the hand. It's just a bit slower getting it out of pocket because of the little extra weight. Pretty easy to open I guess. Could use a little trimming to allow you thumb to get in there easier. After a little adjustment of the blade tension, it pops right out though. It is in NO WAY a slim knife. For a comparison, With both pocket clips installed this bad boy is almost a full inch wide ( 3/4

It arrived in used condition with scratches

I am regular customer with KC and love them as a dealer. However this transaction with my grail Cold Steel Custom Black Sable definitely arrived with disappointment. - the titanium bolster arrived with no protective plastic layers (I.e S35vn Espada does) - Bolsters has light scratches all over it, the show side bolsters had a very noticeable dent as well. Overall this gives me the feeling that it was a return item and KC didn’t inspect before it was sent out again. I have reached out to KC for a solution. I hope this is only a one off.
