Great folding knife

Well thought out and desighned. I think what caught my attention the most when I was looking at this knife is that it was hand made so I figured that there would be some good craftsmanship in this knife and there is. I wasn't sorry for picking this knife. It even comes with a excellent display case that is not shown on here.

Hatamoto

I have purchased several items over the years. Mainly, Cold Steel products because for the price I don't think they can be beat. I am happy with this knife, the balance is good and mine is very easy to open one handed. The handle material has a texture to it which should ensure no slippage.

Great Folder

This knife is awesome! I also own the Black Sable but I would MUCH rather carry this knife. It is a fairly big folder, not huge mind you, but it is a little bigger than many of my other knives. The handle is superb, wet or dry, I've had no slippage. This sturdy knife is just a pleasure to hold. The pocket clip is super strong, almost too strong. The textured grip with the strong clip requires a little more "oomph". But with a little practice, comes out with ease. Crazy sharp San Mai III blade, what more need I say? Larger tanto blade with a large cutting area. I alternate between a Spyderco, Benchmade or Cold Steel for my everyday carry. If I carry a tanto point, the Hatamoto is it.

The Mother of all tactical folders

This is the most amazing folder I've ever seen, and I've seen many. The San Mai III Blade is in a class by itself, both for strength and sharpness. Check out the video demonstration of this knife on Cold Steel's website...its's everything they say it will be, and MORE.

Beautiful knife.

This is a very beautiful knife. Extremely sharp and well made. The opening of it is a bit of a hassle (tough to open with just one hand), but it has a good locking mechanism. The weight of the knife is good and it's well balanced. Overall, very happy with this knife. Just have to figure out how to open it better.
