Just what I wanted !

The next time I have to go into harms way this WILL be on the short list to go with . Just seeing this knife will have a ton of psychological affect on anyone thinking to harm my men or myself . Everything about this knife is pure , no questions asked , business ,dark business . Handle with pommel on the end is a real attention getter , and the whole thing says "Go away" to those with bad intentions . All in all on a scale of 1 to 10 this knife is at least a 15 .A serious keep you safe kind of addition to a soldier's kit .No bad comments on this knife .

IT'S A BEAST, I'M TELLING YA!

Prepare firewood? Forget it. Skin & butcher your kill? Uh-uh. Friends, this sharp monster is good for one thing - combat. And it's well suited for that function! I was genuinely thrilled with this blade in all respects. It's heavy and capable of devastating impact. It's sharper than a mother in law's tongue. This is like an M1918 trench knife brought into the 21st century, and I consider myself fortunate to own it.

OUTSTANDING

first thing out of the box it is awesome. the secure-Ex sheath holds the knife very secure. (no rattle) the handle and hand guard are amazing. fits like a glove. it has a snap strap on the top portion of the sheath. (not even needed, the sheath holds the knife very snug). once i pulled the amazing blade out, i was very impressed. edges are sharp, but not razor sharp. point is very sharp. this is my first Cold Steel knife to own and i love it. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about purchasing this knife.

GREAT KNIFE!

Cool triangular blade! Can be used for many purposes other than sticking someone... emergency stake, use to cook meat &/or sausage &/or marshmellows over fire, great for flattennng tires (just poke, don't slice), anything one can use a sharp stick for! Definitely a fun knife!

comfortable grip

I like to collect various things. This is a weapon, used for one thing. Seems strong and is light weight. I liked the sheath accept for one thing, I would sew the belt loop to make sure it stayed snapped. (cuz if it got pulled off somehow and then you needed it, that would suck) Like I said this is good for what its for, not a camping knife! Good buy for the price.

Superb quality

Excellent design, made to last through another world war, based on what worked in the past few. Sharp enough for some utility but it's a sidearm more or less. Reminds me of a smallsword, only shorter.

Sturdy, strong stiletto

Love this knife. The triangular blade is a lot thicker and stronger than I thought it would be from the picture. This stiletto is made for heavy duty use and is sturdy and very well made.

Ranger approved

This is part of my vest. The strength of the tri-sided blade is GREAT. Another great Cold steel product that will see use deployed as have others over the past 15 years! Rangers Lead The Way!

Looking for this a long time .

Finally a knife I have been looking for. This is truly an example of a blade meant for some serious business . Weight and balance are good . Grip is a great bit of serious hang on to your knife design , the only way to loose this is to be unconscious . The whole knife is made of excellent material , just what the purpose built blade should be made of . No bad things to say about this serious purpose built knife .

Interesting knife

I would love to critique this monster properly but I don't think I'm qualified. However I was intrigued enough to pick it up. It's not what I thought. For one thing, stiletto or not this a massive knife. The blade is truly triangular with an edge that is more wedge-like than some might deem feasible. Make no mistake, this is not a utility knife. It is designed for one thing and one thing only so there are two reasons to own it. You need it. Or you want it. And it's want-able. I do not sit up at nights thinking of new ways to do away with my neighbors but I have studied some history so the design intrigued me. This is a sturdy blade. So unlike most knifes of this design it is unlikely to snap if pressure is exerted. You could probably open a fifty five gallon drum with it with no problems. The grip is a little thick but more versatile than you'd think. You can come at it one way or another and it's easy to transfer grip not to mention if you want to smack somebody with it it works on so many levels. At the base of it this is a tried and true design... on steroids. The whole point (no pun intended) of a stiletto is the point. It's an icepick and this blade actually has more mass than it needs. It is at its heart a nod to one of the military's nastiest knives so go for it as a nod to history.
