Best Blades for Throwing ... ALL things considered
I own 6 different cold steel throwing knives. All of them cost more. All of them weigh more. All of them are good - great throwing knives. The bigger, heavier models tear the heck out of my targets. One good throwing session and we are through the 2 X 4's. That's work and cost to replace for the next session. Considering the fact that I know no one who would "throw" a knife in a survival situation, (thus giving the enemy a weapon), these are, by far, the best of the best for recreational use. Yes, some of the "Big Ones" sink a lot deeper into the target, with a nice resounding "thunk". They are much a pain to remove. These are as accurate as the best of them, are a lot easier to remove from the target, and save me money. Are these absolute perfect knives, no, they are mass produced in a foreign country. I will own almost 20 of these as of my next delivery. Why? There is nothing better in this price range.
