Juat used it to play around. I mean really what do you need a warhamner for these days. It punched through 10ga steel like butter. Soooo much fun. Just the right size foe one or two-handed use.

Very nice!

The only real complaint I have is that some hardware seemed to be missing and some assembly was required. Finding screws as small as are needed has proven impossible so far, and given the handle is made out of the perfect material for a weapon like this, using a hammer and panel nails is beyond difficult.

Very brutal, I brought it camping and using it to just break apart firewood with ease. Only drawback is head became a little loose after first use but its easy to adjust.

I LOVE IT!

OK, no disparagement meant towards anyone, but just a note of what I did, and always do to enhance an item when possible-I went and got some of the best stainless wood screws at Lowe's and used them for putting my War Hammer together. I am a big guy, and have hard swings. I knew this could be an issue already. I could have used a synthetic to replace the wood handle, but wood has a nice flex to it, and I have yet to miss what I swing at. The only other thing I wish was available was a nice sharp steel spike for the top end, to make it possible for a sudden thrust from the top. I like this to carry around walking the fenceline at my 20 acres. Sure,I carry a shotgun and a handgun, but it is a nice tool to have for impromptu hammering of staples working loose, a nice snake and rodent send off and exactly the type of hand weapon I would want for a sudden encounter with a charging feral dog or coyote. Should it ever be a drugged out redneck, I would feel just as secure. I usually keep one in the back of my offroad ready truck, and I like having one behind the bedroom door to. If you have not seen the Cold Steel Proof testing of it, you should! Not a lot of bucks, and well worth it the first time you have to use it as a hammer or a way of saving your bacon. A $45 war hammer in my hand, and of awesome capability, is soooo much more valuable at a sudden moment of need than the $800 1911 .45 acp still in my holster! When I turn a bend in the woods and am getting personal with a threat suddenly-I want this in my hands!

Pretty cool

It seems that the shaft i received is just a little bit narrower at one end than would be optimal but other than than seems pretty cool. I haven't got to use it yet but the construction seems to be good and i like the finish on the hammer head.

Hammer Quality

I purchased this hammer as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. As he was putting it together, the screws continued to break off no matter how gently he tried to screw them in. He was able to get about half the screws into the handle. It is a beautiful hammer, and he was excited to receive it, but quite disappointed by the quality of the hardware.
