Mini Koga Baton Great Defensive Tool
I also purchased the Koga full size 7.5". But the Mini Koga is in a category all by itself. Easily concealed in the front pocket of cargo pants or shorts it can be casually held in the fist and withdrawn for a simple yet very effective defensive tool. Held in the fist you may deliver direct and concentrated stikes at many angles. Any strike from an instictive hammer fist to strikes from the opposite side of the fist near the thumb and index finger. The pointed ends of the MIni Koga are where power is magnified and concentrated when striking. Don't get a boxer type fracture or risk breaking your hand, use a tool to magnify and concentrate your energy. Very durable and light weight. Like the larger Koga and this Mini Koga for the price you can't go wrong to try it out.

it's great guys.compact,light weight,concealable self-defense weapon.love the feel look and i'm gonna get my wife a daughter one make a keychain hole for their keys and teach them how too use it.everyone who does not care a knife or some kind of weapon for self-defense purposes only should have one. it may be better than any of those other lethal options anyway.love it and love the knifecenter for having it,thanks guys.

Cold Steel Mini
A bit smaller in size and length gives this an easy place to carry in any pocket or pouch. But even with larger hands the ends still protrude enough to let you utilize it for intended purpose. Serious enough to get attention when used for pressure points and even more so if more drastic measures need to be taken. Virtually indestructible and affordable, what's not to like?

This thing is a monster
I have trained in martial arts since I was six, and let me attest as someone who is fond of all weapons that this particular item is invaluable in a self defence situation. There are so many strikes, pressure points and grappling applications for this it is insane. Lightweight and concealable this koga goes with me everywhere. Make no mistake, this weapon can maul somebody. Thank you Cold Steel.

this thing rides in my right back pocket next to my wallet at all times. I don't know how to improve this thing. the size is perfect and it is indestructable. I'm a big fan of impact self defense weapons and own a ton of them and this is the one I'm never without at all times.

It is very hard & durable but light enough to carry around without it being bothersome. It is a great fist pack as well as an excellent non-lethal striking weapon that will bring down the pain on anyone effing with you! Cold Steel, I love you!

Good for self-defense, but only as a last resort--could really mess somebody up. Feels solid, nicely balanced. Some situational awareness goes a long way but when all else fails, good to have this around.

Perfect size, shape and weight.
An absolutely indestructible solid piece of well-shaped high-tech plastic. When you make a fist with it and feel those three knobs morph to your fingers you know that it was made for- temporarily turning your forearm and fist into a tomahawk. Far safer for yourself than a punch, faster, (being feather-light) and also would be unexpected in a fight, especially at night. Easily concealable, a perfect pocket or glove compartment edition. Non-lethal, also making it more legal to carry and less likely to get in trouble if you were found carrying one. A simple well-placed stabbing strike to someone’s hand, shoulder or chest will inhibit and cause tremendous pain to even the toughest of attackers. To make it more damaging, strike at the throat, eyes or jaw. Ambidextrous of course, and also fits a variety of hand sizes, big and small.

Awesome Koga!
Another great self-defense item from Cold Steel. This "Hand Stick" looks like it is unbreakable and super effective. It fits my hand like a glove. I have the bigger Cold Steel Koga, too. I like both of them. Though, I purchased this one because the other one is big and not as easy to EDC. If you're looking for a Koga that is easier to EDC, I highly recommend this one. Great Self-Defense Tool, 100% legal
I was asked to write a review on CS koga knuckle. It is a great self-defence tool, 100% legal in most countries. I highly recommend koga for everyday carry. 1. You can punch with it; 2. You can break a window in the survival situation. It's an extremely sturdy little thing. Great service from The Knife Center, and supreme quality from the Cold Steel. Five stars.

Truly an excellent defensive tool
This is one of the best products available in the self defense world, and arguably the most useful in the pocket stick/yawara world. The item fits comfortably in the hand, with the three bumps fitting snugly between the fingers. It is a versatile item, acting as an effective fistload for punching as well as turning each end of the fist into a super concentrated striking area. Although the item is similar to a standard kubotan, it cannot be used as a keychain without homemade modifications. To test the effectiveness of the tool, I struck a wooden fence with a hammerfist strike, Koga in hand. It left a massive and deep dent, and had minimal grip shock on impact. To further test, I placed a brick on a solid surface and and struck it with a hammer blow. The brick shattered into 3 pieces. I can only imagine what this tool could do to an enemy, so it's best to use discretion when striking with the pointed ends. Still, if the situation calls for it, this tool is an excellent equalizer when confronted by a stronger, bigger, or tougher opponent.
