It's first impression on me was great !

This heavy duty cane has already made a difference. Until I get knee replacements it's going to be handy to have. I'm 6/2 and 400 pounds this cane should do the trick. As a defensive tool it would definitely leave a mark should the need arise. So far I'm impressed.

Yes ! It will do the job! Heavy Duty Cane..

I have the heavy duty sword cane bought 2/2010 and it hasn't let me down. Now the regular HD cane is a 1.5 pounds lighter and is just as strong as the original. I know it won't let me down, literally. I use for hiking and walking when my arthritis acts up. I had an extra tip from the sword cane and switched it out, gave me a little extra height and is harder than the one it came with. I'm 6' 3", 260lbs..

Yes it will do ıı,

Back again, one year later. Had to glue the plastic handle back on twice when it fell on the the hard floor and when I put all my weight on it to prevent myself from falling over on uneven ground. It held me up but the glue cracked and handle became lose again. I used lock-tite thicker solution on the full length of the bottom half of the handle and is holding up for now. CS any suggestions on another type of sturdier glue ? I would still recommend this product..
