i mainly use this for cutting small trees and splitting wood but its a strait handle so it seems to be kinda hard to hold on to. the weight is good for throwing, but its not a very strong handle so after a while the wood handle came of of the axe.It does come sharp, but its hard to sharpen.

Cold Steel Gang Hatchet Trainer
This trainer is good. However, it has a major problem. The problem is it chips when it strikes another trainer. Because of this I can't use it for sparring as I intended to. Although it may hold up with less rough use ( I frequently use all my trainers ), it doesn't work for me. Although Somewhat disappointed with its quality, it definately makes a great showpeice.
